What You Might Be Wondering

1. What is a tech pack and why do I need one?

A tech pack (technical package) is your product’s instruction manual. It includes flat sketch CADs, BOM (bill of materials), POM (points of measure), measurements, construction details, and colourways. It ensures the factory understands your vision so the first sample turns out accurately, reducing mistakes, costs, and delays.

2. Is a bra and brief considered two separate styles?

Yes, each garment is considered a separate style because they require individual design attention, construction details, and separate tech packs. For example, a bra and a matching brief may look like one set, but each has its own sizing, fit, fabric use, and technical specifications. They’re priced individually to reflect that development work.

3. Can I just send sketches or photos to the factory instead of CADs and tech packs?

Unfortunately no. Without CADs and tech packs the factory can misinterpret trims, colour placements, or construction methods. These documents are essential for consistent fit, accurate sampling, and professional production.

4. Who owns the design files and tech packs created?

Once your invoice is paid, you own full rights to all designs and tech packs. I retain the right to show them in my portfolio only, unless you request otherwise. It's a transparent and fair process.

5. What if I change my idea during development?

That's totally fine. Your chosen package includes design refinement until your sketches and tech packs are final. Revisions are also supported during sample feedback rounds. You stay in control at every step.

6. Are your services flexible, you don’t offer everything as a fixed package?

Absolutely. Packages come with defined deliverables, but I can customise scope or add on services depending on your needs, such as extra tech packs, design mentorship, customised prints, or additional brands.

7. Do I need sourcing help if I already have suppliers?

Yes. Even with known suppliers you benefit from expert help to verify MOQs, confirm sample lead times, and evaluate trims and prints. I can manage communications and guide adjustments until your TOP (top of production) sample is approved, even if the suppliers are your own.
